Race is geared towards achieving a rigorous and current lineup of artists in various fields of visual expression. an approach of Visual Arts is proposed from different -traditional and contemporaries- languages and finding a balance between theoretical and practical aspect. The academic proposal gives equal importance to academic and technical-expressive-subjective. In this regard it relies on the drawing as a basic tool of visual expression, and the study of art history and philosophy for theoretical training. Since its inception in 2001, the Hall of Visual Arts does not cease to be a clear example of the need to communicate the visual proposals of our students, understanding that the training activity requires different agents operating within it, that the only subject is not knowledge, that the circulation of knowledge depends on the interests and desires that will be demanding from different areas.From the standpoint of training in arts, lounge favors each year the exchange of ideas between students and the possibility of facing a real exercise: one who makes the student aware of the proper management of the exhibition space, the importance a good layout, the scope of the approach embodied in the diversity of ideas exposed and the need that in all this is the perceiver, who plays, who completes the work.This training and meeting space, which calls the whole of our regular students, has been welcomed in various areas of the City of Bogotá: The Museum of Contemporary Art, The Campus of the Universidad Javeriana, Public Library Network - BIBLIORED and El Centro Cultural Gabriel García Márquez.
