About

Through its College of Health and Human Development in partnership with the Tseng College, CSUN offers Certificates of Advanced Professional Development in CT and MRI with online instruction and four learning options designed for working radiologic technologists who have passed college-level algebra and possess 1) a diploma or degree from an accredited radiologic-technology or nuclear-medicine program, and 2) a national certificate in radiography or nuclear medicine from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.

Certificate of Advanced Professional Development in Computed Tomography (CT)

This program provides working radiologic technologists (RT) with the training needed to perform advanced CT scans and qualify to sit for the advanced certification examination offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The program also provides the courses necessary to give the RT the content necessary to pass the ARRT (CT) exam.

Certificate of Advanced Professional Development in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

This program provides working radiologic technologists (RT) with the training needed to perform advanced MRI scans and qualify to sit for the advanced certification examination offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). The program also provides the courses necessary to give the RT the content necessary to pass the ARRT (MR) exam.

Concurrent Certificates of Advanced Professional Development in CT and MRI

This program enables working radiologic technologists to qualify to sit in both CT and MRI advanced imaging certification in only one year.
