Specifically designed to help educators advance their careers
Not all online programs are alike. CSUN does not entrust its learning community to commercial providers, and, in fact, was one of the first American universities to offer graduate degrees online. This online program is offered in collaboration with CSUN's Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies of the Michael D. Eisner College of Education.
A commitment to excellence, and to results
CSUN's two-year, fully online master's program has been carefully crafted by the same distinguished faculty who teach on campus. Though students complete weekly assignments on their own time, the program is not self-paced. Entering students advance through the program curriculum as a cohort of 20-35 participants, becoming a tightly knit community of peers, sharing experiences and perspectives.
Pursuing a Preliminary Services CredentialCoursework for the Master's Degree and Preliminary Services Credential is identical. However, candidates pursuing both a master's degree and a Preliminary Services Credential must apply separately - and concurrently - to both California State University, and the Credentials office.
This programme may require students to demonstrate proficiency in English.
You need the following GPA score:
Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to 2.5 on a US 4.0 grading scale. Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).
