GRE admission requirements GRE® The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. It contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.

General requirements

  • Masters of Science in Engineering Management applicants must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from an approved ABET-accredited engineering (not technology), computing program or be a Kettering University graduate with a degree other than management or business. You may start this program during any of our four terms. The MSEM program does not require a thesis.
  • The MSEM program consists of a total of ten courses (40 credit hours) which includes six core courses plus four elective courses, allowing you to customize your program to meet your professional needs. Your future competitive advantage can be built right into your studies.
