
Overview
During the first year, students will focus on core courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, data analysis, applied economic policy analysis, as well as some optional courses (electives) in the spring. In the second year, students will be able to choose from a wide range of electives from the Department of Economics and Business and other departments
What you'll study
In their first year of MA program in Economic Policy in Global Markets at Central European University (CEU) , students take courses in macroeconomics, microeconomics, quantitative analysis and applied economic policy analysis. Then, they choose from a wide range of electives that fit their interests, including finance, data science, energy economics and economic policy in emerging markets.
