KinoEyes -The European Film Masters from Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies seeks to promote new teaching and learning opportunities for learners and teachers in the areas of fiction film making and creativity studies.  

Overview

KinoEyes -The European Film Masters from Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies is split between four different film schools in four different european states: lusófona university in lisbon, portugal, screen academy scotland in edinburgh/ napier university, uk, baltic film, media and arts school in tallinn, estonia.

Students at KinoEyes -The European Film Masters from Lusophone University of Humanities and Technologies will:

  • gain an in-depth knowledge of fiction film development
  • explore their creativity and specialise in those aspects of fiction films that correspond to their personal preferences, artistic ambitions, and needed professional skills. 
  • gain five core writing, directing, producing, technical execution (cinematography, editing and sound) and creative programming, a transversal competence that includes parts of all others, and points to the need to integrate film literacy as a nuclear aspect of film education.

  • BA degree related with film production.
  • Application Form (online and complying with the imposed deadlines, no applications sent by regular mail will be accepted).
  • Copy of passport/identification card 
  • Recent head-shot photograph.
  • Final university diploma from previous degree(s) and it's transcripts of record 
  • Curriculum vitae  
  • Two or three Letters of Recommendation. 
  • Letter of motivation that expresses interest in studying at KEM (max 1000 characters).
  • Portfolio/ show reel of previous films 
  • If you are applying for screenwriting, please upload the treatment/outlines - max. 3 pages - and a sample of 10 pages from a screenplay of your most significant work. If filmed, please include it on your portfolio/show-reel.
  • Proof of proficiency in the English language 
  • A residence certificate
