This approach also has the further aim of enabling you to predict future economic developments, thus equipping you with the skills to take advantage of golden business opportunities. Students who complete this masters are capable of successfully analysing and generating data related to socio-economic and business activities, at both macro and micro levels. Moreover, they develop invaluable skills in economic policy analysis and excellent decision-making skills in business practice. Those who subsequently wish to complete a doctorate, can gain direct access to the Doctoral Programme at the Business and Economics School, upon successful completion of their UGR-ME programme. The course is run by the leading Economics, Econometrics and Management Department in Southern Europe, which is involved in a range of academic activities:- Publications in leading Academic Journals- Development of innovative research projects- Hosting of visiting lecturers- Seminars and Conferences- Workshop.- Publication of 2 research paper series annually.Our involvement in these activities ensures that the education you receive on our course is challenging, up-to-date, and innovative.

General Requirements

In order to apply to a University of Granada masters programme you must either have:

  • An official university degree from an institution belonging to the European Higher Education Area. The degree must allow you to apply to masters programmes in the country in which it was issued,


  • A degree from an institution outside the European Higher Education Area. As long as the degree indicates the same level of expertise and training as equivalent degrees issued by Spanish universities (this will be verified by the University of Granada), no further administrative steps are required in order for your degree to be recognised by the UGR.
