Overview
Accounting at West Texas A&M University is available to all applicants with a four year bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field with 18 or more hours in accounting from a regionally accredited university and does not require a bachelor's degree in business or a related field. Applicants must have a 3.0 or better GPA for all upper-level Accounting courses. The 36 hour program includes 18 hours in accounting.

Our MPA program is designed for full time employed professionals allowing up to six years for completion to complement your work-life balance, however most students complete the program in a two year period.

- Overall cumulative undergraduate GPA ≥ 3.0
- GMAT scores can be uploaded in the GMAT section of the application portal.
- To qualify for a GMAT Waiver, you must meet one of the following requirements:
- Cumulative undergraduate GPA ≥ 3.0
- Graduate or postgraduate degree with a Cumulative GPA ≥ 3.0
- 10 years of post-graduation, professional experience that shows significant, upward career progression
- The GMAT Waiver Request form is completed during the application process.
