The School of HPER’s graduate programs prepare students for careers in health, physical education, exercise science, athletic training, physical activity, and recreation. By fostering the development of evidence-based work, we train students to be lifelong learners who can perform leadership roles as educators, practitioners and researchers.

Overview

  • Every undergraduate student working for our Nebraska Biomechanics Core Facility was accepted to the professional school of their choice.
  • 100% of our Master of Arts Athletic Training graduates were employed full-time in their desired field within three months of graduation.

GRE admission requirements GRE® The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. It contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.
