Kogod students can network with major real estate groups throughout the greater Washington metropolitan area. MSRE students have gained experience working with the National Association of Industrial and Office Professionals (NAIOP), the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
You’ll attend networking events, site visits, and listen to guest speakers on campus. Past tours include The Wharf, City Market at O, and Cathedral Commons. The program also offers an annual trip to New York City, providing an inside look at the real estate community in the Big Apple.
A Practice-Based and Customizable Curriculum
Experience real estate from all perspectives and pursue coursework based on your intended career.
The core curriculum offers cutting-edge training in underwriting and financial modeling, financial analysis, and urban planning and sustainability, including LEED certification. Faculty provide instruction in Argus, CoStar, Bloomberg, and other industry-specific software.
You may take electives in finance or other relevant areas of interest in the business school, offering the flexibility to customize your degree based on your intended career track.
