Overview
The Barry R. Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema offers a master of fine arts degree in cinema arts with a concentration in one of the following areas: producing, directing, screenwriting, cinematography, post-production, or digital animation and visual effects.
Learning outcomes
The three-year, 66-credit Directing program at The City University of New York prepares students for professional careers in their area of concentration through a combination of practical and theoretical courses.

- 2. In 10 pages or less (double-spaced, 12-point font), write an original treatment for a feature film that you would like to direct, including one page explaining why.
