The Philosophical Methodologies programme offered by the University of Genova brings together teachers of different methodological approaches in the field of philosophy, offering students the maximum freedom of cultural choice.

The Philosophical Methodologies programme offered by the University of Genova arises from different traditions of studies that have made Genoa a reference point for national and international philosophical research: in the 60's in Genoa the chairs of philosophy of religion were created for the first time in Italy (with Alberto Caracciolo) and logic (with Evandro Agazzi) and great influence also had Flavio Baroncelli, teachers of moral philosophy and political philosophy.

What is it for?

In addition to the opening of the teaching of history and philosophy in high schools and of philosophy and pedagogy in master high schools, the master's degree in philosophical methodologies, supported by second level masters, proved to be a fundamental support for new and constantly changing types of work. private in the public administration, as evidenced by several of our graduates (research centers, personnel selection, cultural industry, etc.).

It is also a prerequisite for access to doctoral competition.
