The M.Sc. Medical Rehabilitation program requires a total of 12 credit hours of course work and the completion of a research-based thesis. The thesis requires the completion of an original scientific study by the student. The program usually takes 15-24 months to complete on a full-time basis and is designed to give the health care professional a background in research methods and implementation. Most graduates use this program as a prelude to Ph.D. studies or to positions that require a background in research.
