Overview
Within the Artificial Intelligence - Intelligent Technology course at Radboud University you can choose one out of four tracks:
- Neurotechnology and Healthcare
- Interactive Agents
- Societal Impact of AI
- Dual Degree: AI & Digital Society
Depending on your track and chosen elective courses, you will learn about state-of-the-art techniques in important application areas of AI, such as using Nengo to implement cognitive robotics, machine learning techniques to understand word embeddings, Unity programming to realise computer graphics, and setting up an EEG system for brain-computer interaction. You will learn about the societal impact of AI and neurotechnology on our daily life and how AI may improve the quality of life in patients and persons with disabilities.
Future career opportunities
Our Artificial Intelligence graduates have excellent job prospects and are often offered a job before they have actually graduated. Many of our graduates go on to do a PhD either at a major research institute or university with an AI department. Other graduates work for companies interested in cognitive design and research. Examples of companies looking for AI experts with this specialisation: Webpower, Google, Facebook, Philips, Booking.com, Philips, Rabobank. Some students have even gone on to start their own companies.
