Overview

The University of Georgia offers the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Toxicology - Environmental Health Science. The program of study for Master of Science degrees must contain a minimum of 30 hours of graduate coursework. At least 12 hours of the course work must be in courses open only to graduate students. The program of study for a Doctor of Philosophy must carry a minimum of 30 hours of coursework, three hours of which must be dissertation research. Students must also sign up for research hours each semester.

The Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program at the University of Georgia is comprised of graduate students, faculty, staff scientists, and post-doctoral fellows from several departments within the University. The program is committed to a high quality graduate education and excellence in research, and both faculty and graduate students have received national recognition for their endeavors. 

Our goal is to provide strong interdisciplinary graduate training, research and service programs in toxicology. This is accomplished by encouraging cooperation and sharing of resources and faculty in different colleges, such as Agricultural and Environmental sciences, Ecology, Pharmacy, Public Health, and Veterinary Medicine. A coordinating committee from among these colleges directs the program.

GMAT contains 4 sections - Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal. The score has a range from 200 - 800.
