Finance and Accounting degree from Nottingham Trent University is accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Upon completion of the course you will receive four exemptions for the ACCA qualification.

    C1 Advanced is a Cambridge English Qualification. It reports on the Cambridge English Scale between 142 and 210. You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. These five scores are averaged to give you an overall result for the exam. Universities and colleges may ask you to achieve a specific score, either overall or for a particular skill.

    Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.

Academic Requirements

You need the following GPA score:

Required score: Lower Second Class

Applicants for graduate programs must have the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA equivalent to Lower Second Class on the UK Honour scale. Admitted applicants typically have an undergraduate GPA of or better on the UK Honour scale. No exam grade should be lower than 4.5 (European grade scale) or D (American grade scale).

Your GPA (Grade Point Average) is calculated using the grades that you received in each course, and is determined by the points assigned to each grade (e.g. for the US grading scale from A-F).

  • You will need an undergraduate degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate honours degree (2.2 or above). Your undergraduate degree should either be in Accounting, Finance or in a business and management related subject with a substantial accounting and finance element.
  • All applicants will be required to demonstrate a commitment to the subject they wish to study and should demonstrate how their chosen programme of study will benefit them in their future career.
  • One academic reference is required.

Funding

We are able to offer a number of competitive scholarships to both home / EU and international students through our Full-time Masters Scholarship Scheme. Our scholarships can cover up to half your tuition fees, and apply to all our full-time MSc courses starting in September and January.

Please note that these scholarships are only available to students who have been offered a place to study on their chosen master's course within the School.

The International Development Office at NTU also offer a number of scholarships.
