Welcome to University of Georgia Romance Language's program in French and Francophone Studies. In addition to French language courses, we offer a wide variety of classes that address global Francophonie, or French-speaking regions around the world.

About this Degree

With excellent language skills and training in literature, media, culture, history, and politics, our French and French Studies majors graduate well-equipped to enter a variety of professional schools and careers. This master degree in French is offered at the University of Georgia.

Our graduate programs in literature favor a contextualized and integrated approach to the research of language and cultural production. Texts are studied as components in a broad network of interrelated artistic, political, and economic practices and institutions.
