Please note effective 20 March 9pm AEDT, the Australian Government implemented new travel bans and restrictions whereby only Australian citizens, Permanent Residents, their spouses and dependants could enter the country. For students who would like to study a course that’s offered on campus, we will work with you to enrol you online first and transition you to campus once the travel restrictions change.

An understanding of giftedness, and the range of educational programs and services that provide an appropriate response to student diversity, will benefit all educators and professionals who work with gifted students.

Lecturers bring to the topics a range of perspectives from their diverse backgrounds in teaching, philosophy, educational psychology and research, and imbue each topic with passion and extensive knowledge of the field.

The courses are designed to meet the increasing demand for professional development of current teachers and other professionals. They are not designed to be an initial preparation for teaching and do not lead to teacher registration.

Graduates of this  Gifted Education - Basic entry level program from Flinders University  are suitable for careers in a variety of positions ranging from work as teachers in school classrooms, school coordinators and principals, curriculum and policy advisers in departments of education and as advisors to government and other policy makers.
