Graduates of the Epidemiology program at Boston University assume research positions in academic settings, government, hospitals, or private industries. They are also well-positioned for doctoral education in epidemiology and related fields.
The program has a highly structured curriculum that can be completed in 12 months full time. To fulfill the requirements for the MS degree, students are expected to complete 32 credits with a minimum grade point average of B (3.0) and grades of at least a B in all required courses.
Foundations of Public Health

SPH PH 700 Foundations of Public Health (0 credits) is an online course designed to provide students with foundational knowledge in the profession and science of public health and factors related to public health. PH 700 meets the foundational knowledge criteria (as outlined by CEPH) for all SPH students.
