The Biological Engineering Program at Dalhousie University offers a variety of fields--biological waste management, biorobotics, agricultural engineering, aquacultural engineering, food processing engineering, renewable energy, energy conservation in greenhouses, and pollution control. 



The MASc and PhD degrees in Biological Engineering at Dalhousie University involve a research thesis and four courses plus a graduate seminar. The MEng degree is a Professional Engineering degree that requires either five more courses than the MASc degree plus a graduate seminar, or three more courses than the MASc degree plus a graduate seminar and a project.
