 The Department of Educational Policy Studies and the Department of Counseling and Psychological Services offer a dual enrollment, master’s-level program leading to a Master of Science degree with majors in Educational Research and Mental Health Counseling. 

About

This program provides the Educational Research student a content area in which to apply the educational research methodology and provides the Mental Health Counseling student the capability to combine research and evaluation with counseling in his or her work setting.

In general, this dual degree program provides the student with increased career opportunities both within academia and in the work setting.

Academic Requirements

  • This programme accepts GRE® scores, however, has not provided a recommended or minimum required score range.

    The GRE® General Test is a widely administered admissions test that measures the skills needed in today's graduate and business school programs worldwide. The GRE® General Test contains three sections - Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical Writing. Three scores are reported: a Verbal Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, a Quantitative Reasoning score on a 130 - 170 score scale in one-point increments, and an Analytical Writing score on a 0 - 6 score scale in half-point increments.

  • English Proficiency: non-native speakers of English must demonstrate sufficient English language proficiency.
  • International Academic Credentials: applicants who completed all or part of their education abroad are subject to additional application requirements. Academic credentials (or transcripts) should be issued in English by the institution and include mark sheets and course listings with grades, degree certification and the institution’s official seal/signature. 
  • Financial Support: International applicants need not submit financial documents, including proof of support or bank statements, during the application process.
