Overview
Primarily online courses with up to two face-to-face meetings each semester. Online courses may include synchronous class sessions in the early evenings. Neighbor island candidates travel to Oahu on select Saturdays; some financial support is provided to assist with this travel. Face-to-face meetings will include an option to meet online for candidates outside of the state.
The approved course sequences may be taken while pursuing the master's (Special Education: Board Certified Behavioral Analyst) or bachelor's (BCaBA) degree. For those that already have the necessary degree, the approved coursework can be taken on it's own.
Information regarding requirements and applications on this program page are for those seeking the coursework only. For those interested in pursuing the BCBA coursework within our Master's in Special Education program, please refer to the MEd- SPED program page for necessary requirements and application information.
