Our students are excellent teachers who become leaders in their fields and are highly recruited.
Students focus on one or more primary areas: curriculum, aesthetics, & teacher education. Students & faculty share interests & commitments to interdisciplinary, integrated approaches rather than one disciplinary focus.
Our Secondary Education with Teacher Licensure program offered by the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign provides the coursework necessary for a Master's degree as well as the professional sequence leading to initial licensure in English/Language Arts, Science, Mathematics, or Social Science/History in grades 9-12.
