Overview
The University of Texas El Paso Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed for students from a wide range of backgrounds who are looking for a challenging graduate business education that features experiential learning opportunities and a strong global focus. By offering a menu of flexible schedules, class formats, and professional development services, the UTEP MBA meets the needs of full-time students, working professionals, and established business/non-profit leaders. Our students bring professional perspectives to the classroom from a range of backgrounds including healthcare, engineering, education, military, manufacturing, financial services, and cross-border business. Leveling classes are not required for non-business undergraduate majors.
Learning outcomes
Today, the UTEP MBA serves a diverse population of over 200 students from all over the world. Students attend classes in the UTEP Graduate Business Center in downtown El Paso.
The UTEP MBA has been ranked among the “Best of the Best” MBA Schools by Professional Woman’s, Hispanic Network, and Black EOE Journal Magazines since 2012. The UTEP MBA was also ranked #1 in the nation by Hispanic Business magazine for five consecutive years. In keeping with our mission of access and excellence, UTEP’s MBA programs combine quality graduate business education and affordability.
Accreditation
UTEP offers the only AACSB Accredited business programs in the El Paso border region. The UTEP College of Business Administration has earned AACSB Accreditation for both its Business Administration and Accounting programs.
