Global Studies
The Global Studies program's curriculum at Bard College places at its center the theory-practice nexus, equipping students with a sophisticated set of theoretical and conceptual tools and practical experiences that in combination will prepare them to understand the contemporary global landscape, where problems and solutions increasingly transcend territorially defined national communities.
Vocal Arts
The Graduate Vocal Arts Program at Bard College is a unique master of music program in vocal arts. Created to prepare the young singer for the special challenges of pursuing a professional life in music in the 21st century, this two-year MM degree program balances a respect for established repertory and expressive techniques with the flexibility and curiosity.
Chinese Music and Culture
The Master of Arts in Chinese Music and Culture at Bard College is a two-year program offering students a unique interdisciplinary approach to Chinese music studies and Chinese culture studies. This collaborative program between the US-China Music Institute and the Asian Studies Program at Bard College will begin enrolling students in Fall 2022.
Instrumental Arts
