Description

The School of Social Policy, Sociology, and Social Research (SSPSSR) is delighted to offer this award to enable students who have studied within the county of Kent at one of the universities detailed above to continue their studies at the University of Kent.

The scholarship is worth £1,000 tuition fee discount.

Eligibility

  • Have applied to study one of the following taught Master’s courses in SSPSSR: MA Criminology, MA Sociology, MA Methods of Social Research, MA International Social Policy (one year MA only), MA Philanthropic Studies for entry in September.
  • Are completing/have completed an undergraduate bachelor’s degree from Canterbury Christ Church University, or the Kent campuses of the University of Greenwich or the University of Creative Arts (proof of study location may be required).
  • To achieve/have achieved a minimum Upper Second Classification (2.1) in that undergraduate bachelor’s degree.
  • Have been made an offer to study on one of the MA courses detailed above by the scholarship application deadline.
  • Have submitted a scholarship application (details below) by the deadline (please note that they are unable to consider applicants for the award without an application).
