Description

Trinity offers a number of undergraduate scholarships for international students. These scholarships are awarded to acknowledge the highest achieving students and to assist international students of limited means. Many scholarships are made possible by bequests and gifts that have been generously donated to Trinity over the years. 

Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals is an integral part of Trinity Global’s commitment to Trinity’s strategy in this area and these dedicated scholarships are a new initiative in support of this direction.

Scholarships are valued at up to €5,000 each and are applied as a reduction to tuition fees for a full-time postgraduate programme during the first year of study only. 

There are several scholarships available for full-time taught postgraduate programmes (Note: postgraduate applicants for the School of Business should apply to the specific School of Business Scholarships.

Eligibility

  • Applicants who have non-EU status and who pay tuition fees at the non-EU rate can apply for this scholarship. 
  • Applicants will be assessed based on academic merit and the potential demonstrated to have an impact on the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals in their field through their forthcoming work/research.

Please submit an application for this scholarship as follows:  

Scholarship Application Documents (please ensure all documents include your name and Trinity Application ID):  

Trinity Offer Letter (Applicants must have received a conditional or firm offer of a place on a Trinity postgraduate course). 

Applicants must submit a statement of motivation (500-700 words) explaining:  

why they are interested in attending a particular postgraduate course;

specifically how they intend to apply their knowledge and experience to contribute to particular UN Sustainable Development Goals following  graduation from Trinity College Dublin.

CV/Resume (page limit/word limit)

All documents should be submitted in MS Word or PDF format, with the following header at the top of each page: your name + Trinity application ID + Re-Imagining Global Sustainability Postgraduate Scholarships.
