Description
Southport Rotary has had a long commitment to assisting youth nationally and internationally. Cyril Richarde was a national pioneer in international Rotary humanitarian service.
Through the creation of the Rotary Club of Southport Cyril Richarde AM International Scholarship, the Club aims to support a student who demonstrates a commitment to community service.
The Rotary Club of Southport Cyril Richarde AM International Scholarship was established in Trimester 1, 2022.

$5,000 (paid in two instalments of $2,500).
Eligibility
- Be a citizen of a country other than Australia or New Zealand, with preference given to the following countries: Indonesia, Melanesia, Micronesia, Philippines, Timor Leste.
- Have a minimum GPA in current program of study at Griffith of 4.0 or above on a 7-point scale or equivalent.
- Be a full-time (40 CP ) continuing student, with at least two trimesters of study remaining.
- Have demonstrated community involvement in Griffith Mates, Griffith Mentoring and/or PASS .

You will need to include a 300 word (maximum) statement about your participation and demonstration of community involvement in at least one of the following, and other relevant activities:
