Affordable English-taught universities in the Netherlands
Students from the EU/EEA, Switzerland or Surinam pay affordable tuition fees at public universities in the Netherlands. These fees often range between 700 and 2,200 EUR per academic year.
International students from other countries will pay more, usually anywhere between 6,000 and 20,000 EUR per academic year at the same public universities.
Private academic institutions are more expensive and don’t usually distinguish between EU/EEA and non-EU/EEA students in terms of tuition costs.
While these fees might still seem high, especially for non-EU/EEA internationals, keep in mind that tuition is even higher in countries like the US or Australia, often reaching 30,000, 40,000 or over 50,000 EUR per year.
